ML Engineer - Intern

You’ll contribute to our ML tech stack (e.g., building multi-modal LLMs and generative models for synthetic data creation). 

The internship will be 12 weeks long.

Compensation. The hourly pay rate for this internship is $25–$40 based on location and experience. The hourly pay rate for those based in the New York City metropolitan area is $35–$50.

Location. Hybrid (New York City). Must be able to travel to NYC, at the minimum for the first and the last week of their internship. 

Mindset. We are looking for a founder mindset. Take pride and ownership of your work, build at lightspeed, and look for solutions instead of excuses when things don’t work as expected.

Technical qualifications.

Must haves:

• Excellent Python proficiency.
• Experience with ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TF) backed by a portfolio of past projects.

Plus: 

• Currently enrolled in a quantitative Ph.D. program. 
• Experience with AWS or GCP.
• Past industry internship experience.
• Experience with container orchestration and management technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Prior experience with the development and deployment of models from research papers.
• Prior contributions to open source projects.
